At Foreign Affairs we know that buying a new car can be a painstaking process for some and once you’ve found the right car for you and your family you need to be sure it is mechanically sound. That’s where we come in. Our team of certified technicians will make sure that the new-to-you used car you have your eyes on is in the best condition possible for its age and mileage. We check all of the major systems of the car, from the engine and transmission to the fuel system and exhaust components.

We scan the vehicle’s electrical system for error codes and run a complete diagnostic as well, followed by a brake inspection and suspension inspection. Lastly, we do a full cosmetic sweep of the vehicle and check for any signs of collision damage. If our technicians find any worn or damaged parts, we will bring them to your attention and give you an estimate for repairs that you can use to negotiate with the seller of the vehicle. As a neutral third party in the pre-purchase inspection equation, our job is to ensure the safety and roadworthiness of a potential vehicle purchase, regardless of if the car is purchased from a dealership or from a private party.
